Nertz: Solitaire Card Game ("the App") is developed by Mobile Card Games & Travel Apps LLC for iPhone and iPad (App Store) and Android (Google Play). This Privacy Policy explains what data the App collects, how it is used, and how your privacy is protected.
Nertz works without an account — you never give us your name, email, or any contact information. Your game statistics, settings, and any match in progress are stored on your device. The free version shows ads from Google; online play (iPhone and iPad only) uses Apple Game Center, and leaderboards and achievements use Apple Game Center on iPhone and iPad or Google Play Games on Android. Those services receive the device-level data described below.
Ads fund the free version; Apple Game Center powers online matches (iPhone and iPad), Game Center or Google Play Games powers leaderboards and achievements, and your on-device statistics power the Stats screen. We do not use any of it to identify you personally. The app contains no analytics or crash-reporting software on either platform.
The free version shows ads between rounds and optional rewarded video ads, served by Google AdMob. Ads are never shown during a round. When an ad is requested, Google receives device information, ad interaction data (requests, impressions, clicks), and your approximate location as derived from your IP address. Ads are requested only after Google’s User Messaging Platform has collected any consent your region requires, and you can change that choice at any time in Settings > Ad Privacy Choices (shown where required).
iPhone and iPad: the app does not request App Tracking Transparency permission, so Google does not receive Apple’s advertising identifier (IDFA) from this app for cross-app tracking. Ad-campaign results are measured using Apple’s privacy-preserving SKAdNetwork system, which reports conversions without identifying individual users.
Android: the Google Mobile Ads SDK may use your device’s Android advertising ID and app set ID. You can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time in Android Settings > Privacy > Ads.
How Google uses advertising data is described in the Google privacy policy.
Each service the app uses, and what it receives:
We do not sell your data, and we share nothing beyond what each service above requires to function.
All communication with Google and Apple takes place over encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) connections. Since the app collects no name, email, or account credentials, there is no such data to secure or breach on our side.
You can:
Depending on where you live, privacy laws such as the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA) give you rights over your personal data, including the rights to know, access, correct, and delete it. Because we do not hold your data on servers we operate, there is typically nothing for us to access or delete on request — deleting the App deletes your data. Where the App does process data in transit, or a third-party service described above collects data, you may contact us at the email below to exercise your rights, and we will respond as required by applicable law.
The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. In some regions, including the European Union, a higher minimum age applies to consent for data processing; the same statement applies there — we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the applicable age.
In the unlikely event of a data breach affecting user data on any system we operate, we will notify affected users as required by applicable law.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page.
