Find Bluetooth Devices: Track — Privacy Policy

Find Bluetooth Devices: Track ("the App") is developed by Mobile Card Games & Travel Apps LLC. This Privacy Policy explains what data the App collects, how it is used, and how your privacy is protected.

1. Data We Collect

Find Bluetooth Devices: Track works entirely on your device. We operate no server, require no account, and nothing you do in the App is uploaded anywhere.

• Nearby Bluetooth devices: The App uses Bluetooth to scan for nearby Bluetooth Low Energy devices and records each device's advertised name, signal strength (RSSI), identifier, and when it was last seen — all stored only on your device.
• Custom device names and bookmarks: Names and flags you assign to devices, stored only on your device.
• Location hints: Where a device was detected, as described in the Location section below — stored only on your device.
• Purchase information: Subscription transactions are processed by Apple; the App never sees your payment card details.

The App does not collect your name, email address, contacts, or photos, and it contains no analytics, no ads, and no tracking.

2. Location

The App asks for location permission, including the "Always" (background) option, for one purpose: to record where your Bluetooth devices were last seen, so you can retrace your steps on the in-app map when something goes missing.

• What is recorded: When the App detects one of your devices, it pairs that detection with your current coordinates, the signal strength, and a timestamp, creating a location hint shown on the map.
• Why background access: With "Always" permission, the App can keep logging where devices were detected even when you are not actively using it, which improves your chances of recovering a lost device. This is optional — the App also works with "While Using" permission or with location denied entirely (you just won't get map hints).
• Where it is stored: Location hints are stored only in the App's local storage on your device. They are capped at the 10 most recent hints per device and automatically deleted after 7 days.
• Where it goes: Nowhere. Your location is never uploaded, never sent to us or any third party, and never synced to iCloud. There is no server for it to go to.

3. How We Use Your Data

• Bluetooth scan results power the device list, signal-strength proximity meter, and the audio "ping" that helps you home in on a device.
• Location hints power the map view showing where each device was last detected.
• All of this processing happens on your device.

4. Third-Party Data Sharing

The App shares data with exactly one third party:

• RevenueCat (revenuecat.com): Manages subscription purchases. RevenueCat receives purchase and transaction data from Apple along with a random anonymous app-user ID — never your name, email, location, or device list.

Your Bluetooth scan data and location history are never shared with anyone. We do not sell, rent, or share your data.

5. Data Storage and Retention

• On your device: The device list, custom names, and location hints are stored locally. Location hints are limited to 10 per device and are automatically purged after 7 days.
• On our servers: None. We do not operate servers, and the App uses no iCloud sync.
• Deletion: Uninstalling the App removes all of its data.

6. Data Security

No personal data is transmitted off your device by the App, so there is nothing to intercept on a network. The App's only network communication is with Apple (for purchases) and RevenueCat, over encrypted HTTPS.

7. Your Rights

You can:

• Choose "While Using", "Always", or no location access at any time in iOS Settings — the App adapts to whatever you allow.
• Deny Bluetooth permission (the App cannot scan without it).
• Remove all App data, including every location hint, by uninstalling the App.

Depending on where you live, privacy laws such as the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA) give you rights over your personal data, including the rights to know, access, correct, and delete it. Because we do not hold your data on servers we operate, there is typically nothing for us to access or delete on request — deleting the App deletes your data. Where the App does process data in transit, or a third-party service described above collects data, you may contact us at the email below to exercise your rights, and we will respond as required by applicable law.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. In some regions, including the European Union, a higher minimum age applies to consent for data processing; the same statement applies there — we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the applicable age.

9. Data Breach Notification

In the unlikely event of a data breach affecting user data on any system we operate, we will notify affected users as required by applicable law.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page.
