Aces Up Solitaire: Card Game — Privacy Policy
Effective Date: September 28, 2026
Aces Up Solitaire: Card Game ("the App") is developed by Mobile Card Games & Travel Apps LLC for iPhone and iPad (App Store) and Android (Google Play). This Privacy Policy explains what data the App collects, how it is used, and how your privacy is protected.
1. Data We Collect
Aces Up Solitaire works without an account — you never give us your name, email, or any contact information. The app itself stores your game progress and settings on your device. However, the app includes several third-party services (push notifications, ads, analytics, and crash reporting) that receive device-level data, described in detail below.
- Push notification data (iPhone and iPad): a push token, device information (model, OS version, locale, timezone, app version), and whether notifications were opened, sent to OneSignal.
- Advertising data: ad request, impression, and click data plus device information, sent to Google when ads are shown.
- Analytics and crash data: anonymous gameplay events and crash reports, sent to Google Firebase. The Android app sends crash reports only, no analytics events.
- Game Center data (iPhone and iPad): your Game Center player ID and scores, if you sign in to Game Center for leaderboards and achievements.
- Google Play Games data (Android): your Play Games gamer profile, unlocked achievements, and submitted scores, if you use Google Play Games for leaderboards and achievements.
- Purchase information: in-app purchases processed by Apple through StoreKit on iPhone and iPad, and by Google Play Billing on Android; we never see your payment details.
- Streak reminder (Android): if you tap “Remind Me Tomorrow”, the reminder is scheduled on your device by Android itself; no push service is involved and nothing is sent to us.
2. How We Use Your Data
This data is used to deliver the free-to-play experience: notifications remind you to come back, ads fund the free version, analytics tell us in aggregate which features are used, crash reports help us fix bugs, and Game Center (iPhone and iPad) or Google Play Games (Android) powers the leaderboards. We do not use any of it to identify you personally.
3. Advertising
The app shows banner, interstitial, and rewarded video ads served by Google AdMob. When an ad is requested, Google receives device information, ad interaction data (requests, impressions, clicks), and your approximate location as derived from your IP address. The app does not request App Tracking Transparency permission, so Google does not receive Apple's advertising identifier (IDFA) from this app for cross-app tracking. Ad-campaign results are measured using Apple's privacy-preserving SKAdNetwork system, which reports conversions without identifying individual users. How Google uses advertising data is described in the Google privacy policy.
On Android, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may also use your device's Android advertising ID and app set ID. You can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time in Android Settings > Privacy > Ads. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, the app asks for your consent through Google's consent form before ads are personalized, and you can change your choice at any time in the app's Settings > Ad Privacy Options. On both platforms, buying Aces Up Pro removes banner and interstitial ads; optional rewarded ads remain available in the Joker store.
4. Third-Party Data Sharing
Each service the app uses, and what it receives:
- OneSignal (iPhone and iPad only; privacy policy): push token, device information (OS version, model, locale, timezone, app version), and notification interaction data, used to deliver notifications. OneSignal assigns its own anonymous subscriber ID per install; we never provide it your name or email.
- Google AdMob (privacy policy): ad request, impression, and click data plus device information and IP-derived approximate location, as described in the Advertising section.
- Google Firebase Analytics (iPhone and iPad only): usage and session data (app opens, session duration, and gameplay events such as earning a bonus joker for winning or sharing), device information, a randomly generated app-instance identifier, and on-device ad-conversion measurement. The app uses the version of the Analytics SDK that excludes the advertising identifier.
- Google Firebase Crashlytics: crash logs, stack traces, device model, OS version, app version, and a random installation identifier when the app crashes.
- Apple Game Center (Apple privacy policy): your Game Center player ID and submitted scores for the leaderboards and achievements, handled entirely by Apple.
- Apple: in-app purchases via StoreKit, and iCloud key-value storage for syncing your bonus-joker balance (see below).
- Google Play Billing (Android; Google privacy policy): processes Aces Up Pro and Joker pack purchases. The app checks which purchases your Google account owns on the device; we operate no purchase server and never see your payment details.
- Google Play Games Services (Android; Google privacy policy): your Play Games gamer profile, achievements, and leaderboard scores, handled by Google. You can manage or delete this data from your Play Games profile.
We do not sell your data, and we share nothing beyond what each service above requires to function.
5. Data Storage and Retention
- On your device: game state, statistics, and settings are stored locally.
- In your iCloud account (iPhone and iPad): your joker (bonus currency) balance and related flags are synced across your devices via Apple iCloud key-value storage tied to your Apple ID; we cannot access it.
- In your Google account (Android): if Android backup is turned on, your settings, streak, high score, and joker balance are included in Android’s automatic app backup, which Google encrypts and stores in your Google account; we cannot access it.
- On third-party servers: OneSignal holds your push subscription record, Google holds analytics events and crash reports under its own retention policies, Apple holds Game Center and App Store purchase records, and Google holds Play Games and Google Play purchase records.
- We operate no servers of our own and hold no copy of your data.
- Deletion: uninstalling the app removes all local data (and, on iPhone and iPad, invalidates the push token).
6. Data Security
All communication with OneSignal, Google, and Apple takes place over encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) connections. Since the app collects no name, email, or account credentials, there is no such data to secure or breach on our side.
7. Your Rights
You can:
- Turn off push notifications at any time in iOS Settings > Notifications, or streak reminders in Android Settings > Apps > Aces Up > Notifications.
- Play without Game Center or Google Play Games; leaderboard features are optional.
- On Android, reset or delete your advertising ID in Android Settings > Privacy > Ads, and review your ad consent choice in the app's Settings > Ad Privacy Options (where shown).
- Remove all locally stored data by uninstalling the app.
Depending on where you live, privacy laws such as the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA) give you rights over your personal data, including the rights to know, access, correct, and delete it. Because we do not hold your data on servers we operate, there is typically nothing for us to access or delete on request — deleting the App deletes your data. Where the App does process data in transit, or a third-party service described above collects data, you may contact us at the email below to exercise your rights, and we will respond as required by applicable law.
8. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. In some regions, including the European Union, a higher minimum age applies to consent for data processing; the same statement applies there — we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the applicable age.
9. Data Breach Notification
In the unlikely event of a data breach affecting user data on any system we operate, we will notify affected users as required by applicable law.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page.
